Empowered by the greatest EU webhosters

Flexwebhosting B.V. (“Flexwebhosting), among the largest web hosting providers in the Netherlands, has been acquired by PCextreme B.V. (“PCextreme”), a fast- growing Dutch Internet Service Provider that is part of Total Webhosting Solutions (“TWS”).

Vlissingen, December 18, 2019 – Flexwebhosting was established in 2001, as one of the first providers to offer affordable web hosting for individuals and companies. Flexwebhosting has now become one of the largest web hosting providers in the Netherlands.

After more than 18 years, Jeroen Bouten, owner and founder of Flexwebhosting, has decided to transfer his shares to PCextreme to take the company to the next phase of growth and progress. “I was given the opportunity to give the company and our web hosting customers a good and permanent home. With this acquisition, the continuity of Flexwebhosting is guaranteed and the focus can be on new opportunities for the company.”

Rolph Schmitz has been appointed as director of Flexwebhosting. He has been working at the company for more than 13 years, the last 9 of which in the position of company manager. “I have always worked at Flexwebhosting with a lot of passion and pleasure. Both employees and customers can expect me to continue to do this to ensure continuity for the company. Together with my team and the support of PCextreme I will continue to improve the products and services, so that we will always remain the trusted partner in web hosting for our customers”.

Thomas de Looff, MD PCextreme: “Jeroen has built up an impressive customer base with his team in recent years. Because the web hosting market is changing, Jeroen was looking for a good permanent home for his customers and found it within PCextreme. As PCextreme we believe we will create a stronger combination through this acquisition from which both can benefit.

This first acquisition is also an important step for PCextreme within TWS. In our vision, the web hosting market is changing rapidly. In a few years there will probably only be a few companies left in our industry in The Netherlands. As PCextreme we want to be part of that and being part of TWS strengthens us. The knowledge and experience of sister organizations that we can apply as well as the financial strength of TWS speeds up our development. We have the ambition to do more acquisitions in the future.”
